Amazing Girls
Comics ain't like they used to be!
Have you ever wondered why all of the comic book heroes are male? Have you ever looked for graphic novels with strong girls wearing the superhero cape (or fancy runners)? Well, my friend Nadine, from the Ottawa Public Library, has compiled a list of great choices for primary school kids who want to read about girls doing great things. I have included the link below. Nadine tells me that she is working on a similar list for teens and another one for adults. I can't wait!
